Upon completion of this program, student should be able to:

Apply knowledge of basic sciences and mathematics to understand the facts, concepts, principles and processes in related field.
Analyse scientific problems by using the basic principles in the selected field.
Demonstrate practical skills in laboratory work.
Integrate interpersonal skills during academic activities in group.
Communicate effectively in oral and writing.
Demonstrate basic digital technology applications to seek and process data related to a specific field of study.
Apply numeracy skills in a related field of study.
Demonstrate lifelong learning in searching, interpreting and using relevant information independently.

Entry Requirement

All below requirements must be fulfilled:

Applicant must possess Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least FIVE (5) honours including Bahasa Melayu and passed Sejarah subject in SPM examination.
Open to Malay, Pribumi Sabah, Pribumi Sarawak and Orang Asli Semenanjung candidates only.
Obtained a minimum of Grade B at SPM level in FIVE (5) following subjects:
- Physics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Mathematics or Additional Mathematics
- Any other subject EXCLUDE Bahasa Melayu and History
Obtained a minimum of Grade C+ in English.

UniSZA Science and Medicine Foundation is a fast track program aiming to prepare SPM leavers with excellent results to further study in bachelor’s degree of medical, science and technology in UniSZA. This programme has passed Full Accreditation from Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) since 5 December 2016.

At the end of this program, students will be able to explain concepts, theories and principles in their area of study, source and process data using appropriate digital/technology applications, analyse and apply information to solve problems and develop their skills for lifelong learning and communication in responsible ways.
