MATRICULATION / FOUNDATION (Category N)

  • Obtained at least CGPA 2.00 at the Matriculation / Foundation level;

STAM (Category T)

  • Obtained at least Jayyi d grade at the STAM level;

DIPLOMA (Category E, F and G)

  • Obtained at least CGPA 2.00 at the Diploma level in any of the following fields:

OR

  • Obtained at least CGPA 2.50 at the Malaysian Vocational Diploma (DVM) level in any of the following fields:
    • Technology / Engineering Technology

OR

  • Passed the International Baccalaureate (IB) examination with a minimum score of 29, and obtained at least Grade 4 in three (3) HL/SL subjects.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT

  • Obtained at least Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations starting from Session 1, 2021;
    OR
  • Obtained at least Band 2 for MUET examinations taken up to year 2020, according to the validity period on the date of application.

APEL.A

  • Passed the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning for Access (APEL.A) assessment conducted by MQA.

Bachelor of Polymer Technology with Honors was first offered in session October 2021/2022. The programme has received the quality certificate from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA/PA14308). Bachelor of Polymer Technology with Honors is a full-time study with apprecieship mode. The programme duration is 3 and ½ years consisting of four (4) semesters in the university and three (3) semesters in the respective polymer industries including 24-weeks-long of industrial training. Teaching and learning methods for each course are conducted through lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, presentations, projects, apprenticeship and industrial training.
