STPM

  1. A pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)/ equivalent qualification with honours in Bahasa Melayu/ Bahasa Malaysia or honours in Bahasa Melayu/ Bahasa Malaysia Paper July.
  2. A pass the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of CGPA   2.33.
  3. Obtain a minimum of Grade C+ TWO (2) at of the following subjects at STPM level:
    • Biology
    • Chemistry
    • Physics / Mathematics (M) / Mathematics (T)
  1. Obtain a minimum of Grade C (2.00) at of the following subjects at SPM level:
    • Biology / Science
    • Mathematics
    • TWO (2) subjects EXCLUDING BAHASA MELAYU at SPM level.
    • Pass in English
  1. A minimum score of Band 2 in MUET .
  2. No physical disabilities, speech impairment, blindness, deafness and dumbness.
  3. Pass the interview.

  2. Graduated with a Diploma in Medical Assistant with a minimum of CGPA 2.50 recognized by the Malaysian Government and approved by University Senate.
  3. Obtain a minimum of Grade C (2.00) at of the following subjects at SPM level:
    • Biology / Science
    • Mathematics
    • TWO (2) subjects EXCLUDING BAHASA MELAYU at SPM level.
    • Pass in English
  1. A minimum score of Band 2 in MUET.

The faculty of medicine believes that every individual has potential and the BMHS program aims to nurture virtuous and high quality assistant medical officers in supporting the university’s vision to be a world choice university in line with the nation’s aspiration towards sustainable quality health care.

Bachelor of Medical and Health Sciences (Hons) first offered in session October 2021/2022. The programme has received the quality certificate from the Malaysia Qualifications (MQA/PA13086). Bachelor of Medical and Health Sciences (Hons) is a full-time study. The programme duration is four years covering EIGHT SEMESTERS consisting of five (5) preclinical semesters and three (3) semesters of clinical posting. Teaching and learning methods for each course are conducted through lecturers, tutorials, practical, presentation, projects, and clinical posting.
