STPM

All below requirements must be fulfilled:

  • Obtained Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / equivalent qualification with honours in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia and passed Sejarah subject. Honours in Bahasa Malaysia/ Bahasa Melayu  Kertas Julai is also considered.
  • Passed Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 with C in three subjects including Pengajian Am.
  • Obtained a minimum CGPA of 2.75 in STPM.
  • Obtained a minimum of B in SPM in the following subjects: English and Sejarah.
  • Obtained a minimum of C in SPM in ONE (1) of the following subjects: Pendidikan Syariah Islamiah / Pendidikan Al-Quran dan Al-Sunnah / Pendidikan Islam / Bahasa Arab / Tasawwur Islam / Hifz Al-Quran / Maharat Al-Quran / Usul Al-Din / Al-Syariah / Manahij Al-Ulum Al-Islamiah / Al-Adab Wa Al- Balaghah / Pendidikan Moral
  • Obtained a minimum of C in SPM in any ONE (1) subjects other than the above selected subjects excluding Bahasa Melayu.
  • Obtained at least Band 2 in MUET.
  • No physical disability, not blind, deaf or mute. 

MATRICULATION / FUNDAMENTAL CATEGORY

All below requirements must be fulfilled:

  • Obtained Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / equivalent qualification with honours in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia and passed Sejarah subject. Honours in Bahasa Malaysia/ Bahasa Melayu Kertas Julai is also considered.
  • Passed Matriculation/Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00
  • Obtained a minimum CGPA of 2.75 in Matriculation/Foundation.
  • Obtained a minimum of B in SPM in the following subjects: English and Sejarah.
  • Obtained a minimum of C in SPM in ONE (1) of the following subjects: Syariah Islamiah / Pendidikan Al-Quran dan Al-Sunnah / Pendidikan Islam / Bahasa Arab / Tasawwur Islam / Hifz Al-Quran / Maharat Al-Quran / Usul Al-Din / Al-Syariah / Manahij Al-Ulum Al-Islamiah / Al-Adab Wa Al- Balaghah / Pendidikan Moral.
  • Obtained a minimum of C in SPM in any ONE (1) subjects other than the above selected subjects excluding Bahasa Melayu.
  • Obtained at least Band 2 in MUET.
  • No physical disability, not blind, deaf or mute.

DIPLOMA AND EQUIVALENT CATEGORY

All below requirements must be fulfilled:

  • Obtained Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / equivalent qualification with honours in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia and passed Sejarah subject. Honours in Bahasa Malaysia/ Bahasa Melayu Kertas Julai is also considered.
  • Graduated with a Diploma or other equivalent qualification recognized by the Malaysian Government and approved by University Senate.
  • Obtained a minimum CGPA of 2.75 in Diploma.
  • Obtained a minimum of B in SPM in the following subjects: English and Sejarah.
  • Obtained a minimum of C in SPM in ONE (1) of the following subjects:Pendidikan Syariah Islamiah / Pendidikan Al-Quran dan Al-Sunnah / Pendidikan Islam / Bahasa Arab / Tasawwur Islam / Hifz Al-Quran / Maharat Al-Quran / Usul Al-Din / Al-Syariah / Manahij Al-Ulum Al-Islamiah / Al-Adab Wa Al- Balaghah / Pendidikan Moral.
  • Obtained a minimum of C in SPM in any ONE (1) subjects other than the above selected subjects excluding Bahasa Melayu.
  • Obtained at least Band 2 in MUET.
  • No physical disability, not blind, deaf or mute.

STAM CATEGORY

All below requirements must be fulfilled:

  • Obtained Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)/ equivalent qualification with honours in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia and passed Sejarah subject. Honours in Bahasa Malaysia/ Bahasa Melayu  Kertas Julai is also considered.
  • Obtained a minimum level of Jayyid in STAM.
  • Obtained a minimum of B in SPM in the following subjects: English and Sejarah.
  • Obtained a minimum of C in SPM in ONE (1) of the following subjects: Pendidikan Syariah Islamiah / Pendidikan Al-Quran dan Al-Sunnah / Pendidikan Islam / Bahasa Arab / Tasawwur Islam / Hifz Al-Quran / Maharat Al-Quran / Usul Al-Din / Al-Syariah / Manahij Al-Ulum Al-Islamiah / Al-Adab Wa Al- Balaghah / Pendidikan Moral.
  • Obtained a minimum of C in SPM in any ONE (1) subject other than the above selected subjects excluding Bahasa Melayu.
  • Obtained at least Band 2 in MUET.
  • No physical disability, not blind, deaf or mute.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

General Requirements:

Senior High School/ Senior Secondary School/ Other Certifications from government schools (with the period of at least 11 or 12 years of study from primary to higher secondary);

OR

Passed General Certificate of Education (GCE)/ A-Level;

OR

Diploma in related field;

OR

Any other Certificate that is recognized and approved by the Senate of the University;

AND

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) Band 5.0;

OR

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT) score of 45;

OR

Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Band 3.

AND

FACULTY REQUIREMENTS:

Obtained a minimum CGPA of 2.75 in GCE (A-level) / Diploma / equivalent

Bachelor of International Relations with Honors was first offered in September 2014. The programme has received the quality certificate (MQA16926) and full accreditation (MQA/FA3100) from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency in 2017. Bachelor of International Relations with Honours is a full-time study. 

The programme duration is three and a half year covering SEVEN SEMESTERS which consist of seven (7) regular semesters with three months of industrial training in the final semester. Teaching and learning methods for each course are conducted through lectures, practical, presentation, projects and industrial training.
