APEL.A

Passed the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL.A) assessment
for admission purposes conducted by MQA.

Obtained at least Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET)
for examinations beginning from Session 1, 2021 onwards, or Band 2 for examinations
held before 2020, with the results still valid on the date of application.

B. Tech (Hons) in Manufacturing Engineering Technology (Product Design) was first offered in session July 2015/2016. The programme has received the quality certificate from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA/FA 3118). B. Tech (Hons) in Manufacturing Engineering Technology (Product Design) is a full-time study. The programme duration is 4 years consisting of eight (8) long semesters and two (2) short semesters including 9-weeks-long industrial training at respective manufacturing industries at the end of study year. Teaching and learning methods for each course are conducted through lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, presentations, projects and industrial training.
