Master of Science (Health) is a two to four years program at the Masters level. It is a research mode program related to medical and health. The graduate will be supervised by a university lecturer who has expertise in related fields. The program aims to produce competent researchers in the medical and health fields aligned with the university’s vision and mission, and the nation’s aspirations towards sustainable quality healthcare. The program will also produce a health researcher who evaluates the knowledge and coordinates the skills acquired in conducting medical and health-related research, adhere to personal skills, ethics, and professionalism in their engagement with medical and health research, demonstrates leadership roles and skills in communicating and resolving issues through scientific and humane approaches and exhibits entrepreneurial skills, resource management, and information system proficiency in medical and health-related research.

1. A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75; or

2. A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and at least three (3) years of relevant working experience in the related field; or

3. Bachelor’s Degree with a CGPA below 2.50 and at least five (5) years of relevant working experience in the related field; or

4. Master’s Degree in a relevant field from a university recognised by the Senate; or

5. Other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s Degree and recognised by the University Senate.

All international candidates must fulfil minimum language requirements: TOEFL (550), IBT/IBT Home Edition (60), IELTS (6.0), MUET (Band 4), Cambridge English Qualifications (169)
