How to apply?

Undergraduate Mainstream programmes for February Intake must be made online at Admission website.

Application is open to holders of Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM), Malaysian Higher Religious Certificate (STAM), Matriculation holder/ ASASI programme, GCE A-Level, SAT, ACT or equivalent, International Baccalaureate (IB) or equivalent, Australian Matriculation, Canadian Matriculation or equivalent or American Degree Programme (ADFP/ ACTP).

Announcement of admission for February Intake will be made soon.

Application Procedure

  • You will be required to sign up for an account at Admission website
  • Fill in your personal details
  • Upload the documents required
  • Pay the processing fee
  • Submit the application

Undergraduate Mainstream programmes for September Intake must be made online at UPU official portal.

There are full instructions on the website to make it as easy as possible for you to fill in your online application.

Application is open to holders of Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM), Malaysian Higher Religious Certificate (STAM), Matriculation / ASASI programme, GCE A-Level, SAT, ACT or equivalent, International Baccalaureate (IB) or equivalent, Australian Matriculation, Canadian Matriculation or equivalent or American Degree Programme (ADFP/ ACTP). 

Admission for Degree Programme will be open in February to April through UPU official portal.

Application Procedure

To make an application, the applicant is required to include the following five items to submit an application for the first time. Make sure the unique BSN ID number has been purchased before the application is made:

  • No. Identity Card or MyKAD
  • Unique ID Number (buy PIN number at BSN by category respectively: SPM / Equivalent, STPM / Equivalent)
  • Type of Application
  • Program of Study
  • Categories

To those who have registered and wish to make updates and reviews, you can login using only the Identity Card Number and Password that was entered during the First Time login. The application procedure is as below ;

  • Sign Up
  • Login
  • Fill in Personal Information
  • Fill in Family Information
  • Check all the information entered is correct
  • Fill in Other Information
  • Fill in the Information of Study Program Options
  • Fill in Academic Information
  • Click SAH and SEND
  • Application Slip Display in PDF Format

Applicants please be sure to refer to the important notes of the application below: –

  • There are 12 courses of study. Applicants are required to select 5 different courses of study. If interested in an interview programme, the applicant may submit an option in Option 1 to 4 only. For the Study Program of the interview (Education) at 1-2 options only.
  • The applicant is only allowed to choose the program of study starting (Date will be updated). The applicant may only choose the program of study which passes only the special conditions set by UA.
  • All study programs with interviews are marked with a (#) sign at the end of the program name in UPUOnline.
  • Important information required by the applicant is marked with an asterisk (*) in the student admission application form. Whereas the (**) sign refers to mandatory filling in one of the information fields.

For MATRICULATION/ASASI holders, there are 2 phases of application. Phase 1 begins just like any other application. Course options shown are based on the marks of the first semester exam included in the application system. 

After the actual final examination results are announced, the applicant is obliged to update the application in Phase 2 which will be open on (Date  to be announced) from 12.00 noon until (Date to be announced), at 11.59 pm.

Applicants for KPM / PASUM / Foundation UiTM Matriculation who do not apply for Phase 1, will not be considered in the application to UA.

Undergraduate Mainstream programmes Application for Asasi UniSZA / Diploma UniSZA holders must be made online.
