This book depicts many of the colourful and interesting birds found at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin. The university and its natural surrounding are home to 135 species of both resident and migratory birds, a large number for such a small area. Birds are not only fascinating animals to watch, they have also long been considered indicators of an environment's health. The sheer number of species recorded on campus is evidence that UniSZA has an impressive natural heritage worth protecting.
