This book describes briefly the issues and research agendas in service organizations in Malaysia. To survive in the dynamic and competitive service environment, there is an ultimate necessity for servoce players to build a competitve edge and enchancing their services. This book is divided into four parts and contains eight chapters. the first part focuses on the hotel industry, followed by the education and government services, business services and transport and logistics. The content of this book comprised of the research studies by lecturers at Faculty of Economics, Accountancy and Management Science at Sultan Zainal Abidin University (UniSZA)


The chapter is based on the empirical study in Malaysia conducted by our lecturers. Among the issues and research agendas are market orientation, brand orientation, brand performance, relationship marketing, emotional intelligence andcommitment, organizational citizenship behaviour, job satisfaction, occupational safefty and health, consulting services, work family conflict and issues and challengesin halal logistic management. As a whole, all the issues and research agendas discussed in this book can provide informative literature to students, graduates students, academicians, researchs as well as managers in the related industry.
