- What is UniSZA
It is shortform for Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (formerly known as Universiti Darul Iman Malaysia with the abbreviation UDM). UniSZA aims to become world class higher education institute which produces and shapes talented leaders and formed minds, enriched with knowledge, high culture and noble character.
- When was UniSZA formed?
UniSZA recorded history in the development of national public learning institutes and became the pride of the people in Terengganu in particular and fellow Malaysians in general. What started with the announcementby former Prome Minister Dato’ Seri Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi on the 26th March 2005 followed by the appointment of Dato’ Professor Dr. Alias bin Daud as the first Vice Chancellor on the 1st January 2006, begun the process of operationalizing Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin with the motto “Knowledge for the Benefit of Humanity”
