Method 1: By taking a direct flight from Subang Airport to Redang Island

Method 2: By first travelling to Kuala Terengganu (by land or air) and taking a boat transfer service afterwards to Redang Island

Travel by Land:

Public Transport

Express buses and outstation taxis offer regular services from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu. The trip takes about 5 hours and covers about 459km. Once arrive at the Kuala Terengganu bus terminal, you may take a cab or our shuttle bus services to Taman Tamadun Islam (TTI) jetty to catch our exclusive ferry to the resort. For guests who are driving from Kuala Lumpur, you may take the East Coast highway route towards Kuala Terengganu, which takes approximately 5 hours, and then continue towards Taman Tamadun Islam (TTI) jetty, which is located in Kuala Terengganu.

Self-Drive:

For guests who are driving from Kuala Lumpur, you may take the East Coast highway route towards Kuala Terengganu, which takes approximately 5 hours, and then continue towards Taman Tamadun Islam (TTI) jetty, which is located in Kuala Terengganu.

Travel by Air:

Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu Airport (Sultan Mahmud Airport)

Malaysia Airlines, Air Asia, Firefly, and Malindo Air operate daily flights from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Kuala Terengganu (TGG). Once in Kuala Terengganu, you may take a cab or our shuttle bus services from Kuala Terengganu Airport (Sultan Mahmud Airport) to Taman Tamadun Islam (TTI) jetty, to catch our exclusive ferry to the resort.

1. Taman Tamadun Islam Jetty to Laguna Redang Island Resort

Important notice:

2. Merang Jetty to Laguna Redang Island Resort

Merang Jetty is 30km north of Kuala Terengganu and provides easy transportation to Redang Island. Most hotels offer boat rides that leave Merang Jetty, which is often included in the package. Public ferries also depart frequently from here. To get to the Merang Jetty from the Kuala Terengganu bus terminal, take the SP Bumi Bus, which runs every hour and costs around RM10. You can take a taxi for around RM60, and the drive will take you approximately 45 mins to the Merang Jetty. The journey to Redang Island from the Merang Jetty is much faster and more frequent than from Shahbandar Jetty. It has been a more popular option for most travellers because the journey only takes 30 to 45 minutes, and most resorts send their boats here.
