Call for Abstract

 

TRANSLATIONAL AND HOLISTIC MEDICINE CONFERENCE 2024:  BREAST CANCER

(TranSMeC 2024)

18th - 19th SEPTEMBER 2024

                                                                    

The Translational and Holistic Medicine Conference (TranSMeC) is hosted by Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin. This premier conference aims to bring together scientists, academics, and health professionals, as well as students from relevant niche, in order to present and discuss updated scientific results and activities.

This is the first year of the TranSMeC, and our conference will focus on breast cancer with the intriguing theme "Bridging Translational and Holistic Medicine in Breast Cancer Care: A Synergistic Approach". The Scientific Committee invites motivated researchers to submit abstracts on study related to breast cancer including:

  • Basic science
  • Clinical science
  • Social science
  • Behavioural science
  • Spiritual science
  • Islamic contemporary knowledge
  • Complementary medicine

Research type includes:

  • Preclinical research
  • Translational research
  • Clinical study/ trial
  • Systematic and scoping review
  • Clinical case report/ case series

  • The due date for abstract submission is by30th July 2024   7th August 2024
  • The accepted abstracts will be announced by 15th August 2024
  • The conference will be held physically from 18th to 19th September 2024.

 

Abstracts will be grouped into two categories: Basic Science and Applied research.

 

  • Accepted abstracts will be published as special issues in MyCite Journal.
  • Full papers will be offered publication in SCOPUS indexed journal*                                                                                                                                                           *provided enough papers obtained, subjected to journal peer review with additional minimal fee

 

AWARDS & PRIZES

 

  • All oral and poster participants will receive Certificate of Participation.
  • The Prizes:
    • The winners for all awards will be announced during the closing ceremony.
    • Each winner will receive a winning certificate and cash prizes.
    • The judges' decision will be final.
