• The course is a community based programmmes concentrating on various aspects of the requirements and tenets of being a practising muslim specifically as an imam.
• The course will introduce students to the Islamic culture practised by the people of Terengganu and also visit places of interest which have historical significants on the development of Islam in Terengganu.
• The course is opened to all muslims at all levels.

1. The fundamentals of Islam.
2. How to lead the congregational prayers.
3. Interaction with the local community via weekly visits to the mosques in Terengganu.
4. A brief history of the spread of Islam in Terengganu in the context of Asia.

1. Acquire knowledge and fulfill all the requirements needed to become a qualified imam.
2. Understand and participate in discussions on the following subjects :
   • Basic Arabic
   • Fiqh
   • Dakwah
   • Al Quran
   • Islamic Civilization
3. Practice the basic Islamic knowledge themselves and among their families.
4. Know and aware of the places and their significant to the spread of Islam in Terengganu.

1. Fiqh
   Focusing on the study of ibadah (ablution, solat/praying, fasting, slaughtering, halal food and trading )
2. Al-Quran
   Able to recite a few surahs from Al Quran.
3. Basic Arabic Language
   Learn basic Arabic language used in the day to day ibadah and supplications (doa)
4. Peradaban Islam / Islamic Civilization
   Focusing on good Islamic manners which should be practised by muslims in accordance to Al-Quran and As- Sunnah
5. Biography of Rasulullah
   Participants will be exposed to the way of life and dakwah of Rasulullah.

The program is conducted annually beginning in May.
